Camps That Feel Fun, Useful, and Different
Since 2019, HNI has been designing and delivering summer and winter camps for youth and employees’ children. Each camp combines short learning sessions, hands-on activities, and gamified experiences to help participants learn without feeling like they are sitting in a traditional classroom.
The goal is to give young people a space to explore, think, create, and grow.

A Camp Experience With a Purpose
A good youth camp should be exciting, but it should also leave participants with something valuable. HNI builds camp journeys around skills, themes, and real-world topics that help young people better understand themselves and the world around them.
Some camps focus on communication skills and confidence. Others introduce participants to entrepreneurship, sustainability, STEM, green design, or even how to think through a start-up business idea. The format changes based on the age group, the theme, and the outcome the organization wants to create.

Helping Youth Think, Build, and Present
Many young people have ideas, but they do not always know how to shape them. HNI camps help participants move from a simple idea to something they can explain, build, test, or present.
For example, in a start up business themed camp, participants can explore how ideas become projects, how teams divide roles, how a product or service is presented, and how communication skills can make the idea stronger. The experience stays simple and age-appropriate, but it gives them a real taste of how future skills work in practice.
